Case Study · Women's grooming
Nine nights, three cities, one curated roster
A leading women's grooming brand wanted to own Gujarat's festive season. From the strength of Gujarat's fashion, beauty, lifestyle, skincare and entertainment creators, GCN curated 50 and held them across Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara, then blended the razor with the Navratri and Raksha Bandhan sales push and ran the whole campaign end to end, in Gujarati and English.

The brief
Why a curated, high-profile roster mattered here
For a premium women's grooming brand, the festive season is the moment the whole category comes alive: nine nights of dressing up, dancing and being photographed, back to back. The brand did not want a generic burst of posts. It wanted the right faces, in the right cities, in the language people actually celebrate in.
That is a network question, not a database one. Finding high-profile Gujarati creators who fit a premium beauty brand, and who could carry a festive-ready story credibly, is exactly where a curated community does the work a marketplace search cannot.
The opportunity
A fast-growing category, at its biggest moment
20%+
yearly growth of the leading women's razor range
30,000+
people a night at big garba venues
46,000+
dancers in Vadodara's record garba
2–3x
engagement for vernacular content
- A fast-growing, first-time category. The market leader in Indian razors said its women's range grows upwards of 20% a year, with first-time at-home users as the main opportunity, the exact audience creators reach best.
- The festive window raises the need. Navratri 2026 ran nine nights (11 to 19 October); big garba venues draw 30,000+ a night, turning a one-off salon visit into a nightly, festive-ready need.
- Vernacular carries further. Regional-language content has been shown to drive 2 to 3 times the engagement of English, which is why the campaign ran in Gujarati and English, not one or the other.
Market figures are third-party category context, not GCN campaign results.
How GCN ran it
Curated, blended with the sale, and run end to end
A curated roster, not a list
High-profile faces matched to a premium beauty brand by people who know them, not a marketplace filter. The wrong fits never reached the brief.
Blended with the festive sales push
The razor was woven into the Navratri and Raksha Bandhan moment, when getting festive-ready is a real need, not dropped as a standalone post.
Managed end to end
Briefs by city, in Gujarati and English, then scripts, shoots, approvals and posting, all run by GCN. The brand dealt with one point of contact, not 50 separate conversations.
Curation in practice
The 50 we curated, held across three cities
Gujarat has real depth in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, skincare and entertainment creators. From that strength we curated 50, the ones who truly fit a premium brand at festival time, not whoever was available. A name earned its place on judgement, not a filter.
Then we held that roster across the three cities, placing each creator in the city and the vertical where they belonged, so the campaign read as premium in every feed it appeared in, not just one.
The 50, held city by city
Ahmedabad
Mega-grounds, AC domes and party plots; Law Garden for the outfit.
The cut
Night-out energy and a premium look and feel.
Surat
Fast, modern choreography; India's man-made fabric hub.
The cut
Outfit and choreography reels, practical ready-in-minutes routines.
Vadodara
The cultural garba capital: traditional moves and attire.
The cut
Tradition first: comfort and confidence through the night.
In the right languages
Gujarati to make people feel it, English to keep the product clear
The campaign ran in both languages the way these cities actually talk: the festive emotion and family moments in Gujarati, the product demos and claims kept precise in English so nothing drifted from the pack.
The simple rule that carried it: speak in Gujarati, caption in English.
What it delivered
One coherent festive presence, not a scatter of posts
The payoff was coherence. Through the festive window, the curated roster carried the brand across Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara, in Gujarati and English, one campaign tied to the sale, instead of fifty disconnected collaborations landing whenever.
And it ran on the same network and delivery that, on an earlier campaign, beat its committed reach by 62%: the Gujarati lip-sync campaign.
